screen resolution

screen resolution
"The setting that determines how much information is displayed on the computer screen, measured horizontally and vertically in pixels. At lower screen resolutions, such as 640 x 480, fewer items fit on the screen, but they are larger and easier to see. At higher resolutions, such as 1600 x 1200, more items fit on the screen and they appear smaller."
